The Maiden In The Mirror

“Every night the mirror shines and your their waiting for me, you show your smile, you act as if its been a while, when really I’ve been here the night before. You know when I’m here as i approach your crystal door. you stop and deafens me with your voice. I tremble with such excite but my soul screams in fright like victim being chased by a demon in the night. I surrender to you voice, as tell my mind that I have no choice. I have no choice my gaze is captured by your face, With your words my ego you would boast, I feel inner self is turning to a ghost. Maiden in the Mirror your treat me like a King, yet you fill me full of terror. Its shakes me to my soul, how good you play your role but tonight I’m fighting for my soul. I want to shatter the portal, but the mirror is a weapon that I need. My soul is starving, but my ego wants to feed. With your voice it whispers in my ear, Telling me its your love that I crave when deep inside I just want to save the drowning man that I once was for its me that i must save. My inside it does weep for my body and soul just simply want to sleep. Oh maiden please leave me your love I no ,longer crave its the soul that I have left that I simply want to save from this grave!”-J.P. Belmont
